Terms of use

This is a translation provided for convenience. The Italian version is the legally binding one: in case of any discrepancy, the Italian text prevails.

These terms apply to anyone who uses this website and anyone who uses the app. They're written in plain language: if something isn't clear, write to us and we'll rewrite it better.

What Posely is

Posely is a phone app that assesses posture and balance from photos and simple tests, gives you a score and suggests exercises. It is a wellness and self-observation tool.

It is not a medical device

Posely does not diagnose, does not treat and does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional. Scores and other values are indications, not medical reports: a low value doesn't mean you have a condition, and a high value doesn't rule one out.

If you are in pain, if it came on suddenly, if you've had an injury or if you're already under medical care, see a doctor. Stop any suggested exercise if it causes pain.

The waiting list

Signing up only serves to get a notice when the app becomes available. It is not an order or a contract, it gives no right to a price, a free version or a guaranteed release date, and it costs nothing. You can ask to be removed from the list at any time by writing to info@posely.it.

Only sign up with your own address: don't use other people's email.

The app

Who can use it, and how

Posely is for personal use and you must be at least fourteen years old. Take photos of yourself: don't upload images of other people without their consent. The app can also be used without an account; with an account, your profile and assessments are synced, as explained in the privacy policy.

Posely Plus

The subscription unlocks the week-by-week programs, the guides, unlimited history and the movement analysis. It costs €6.99 a month or €49.99 a year, after a seven-day free trial. In any case, the price that applies is the one shown by the store before you confirm the purchase, in your currency.

Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account on confirmation. The subscription renews automatically when it expires, at the same price and for the same length, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused part of the free trial is forfeited if you buy the subscription before it ends.

You cancel from the subscription settings on the App Store or Google Play: uninstalling the app doesn't cancel anything. Payments, invoices, plan changes and refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own terms: we don't collect payments directly and can't issue refunds on their behalf.

Your account

You can close it whenever you like from Profile → Delete account: this deletes your data, not your subscription, which you still need to cancel in the store. We may suspend an account that uses the service abusively, uploads photos of other people or harms other users.

How it works, and what we can guarantee

The app is provided «as is»: we do our best to make it work and to make its results reliable, but detection depends on lighting, framing and clothing, and it can get things wrong. We may change or remove features; if a change significantly reduces what you paid for, we'll tell you and you can cancel. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected, and nothing in these terms can limit them.

The website

We do our best to keep the information we publish correct and up to date — the figures we cite always come with their source — but the website is provided «as is», with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change its content at any time.

The Posely name, logo, text and graphics are ours: you may quote and share them with credit to the source, but you may not use them as your own or for third-party products or services. The scientific studies cited belong to their respective authors and publishers.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Italian law applies. For disputes with anyone not acting as a consumer, the courts of Arezzo have jurisdiction; for consumers, the court of their place of residence or domicile and the protections of the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del consumo) remain unaffected.
